The work is nearly complete. And this time I have pictures! →[More:] (Sorry for those who really wanted to see them last night, I was too tired!)
Umm, well, I think it will be banishment from the boudoire. We have two dogs; one doesn't have a weak bladder, the other does. Considering the work I put into this, I think I can get Mrs. Doohickie to agree to letting only the good doggie sleep in the room with us. The bad doggie will be in her crate (as usual) at night time, but the crate will now be out in the hallway.
Really, really nice results, Doohickie! Between the paint and the flooring you've done, there is just no comparison of the "before" to the "after."
You may find that your dogs are naturally leery of a hardwood floor, to boot. My mutt pretty much sticks to carpeted areas, on his own, knowing that the hardwood, the stone, and the vinyl floors are "people only" places, where the traction for doggies isn't too good, anyway. On the rare occasions he's been sick, after a lapse or two on carpeted floors, he's gone to the kitchen, where cleaning up the vinyl floor is no big deal.
The flooring installation looks totally professional! Watch out - all your friends will be asking you to work on their floors...
Congrats on a eautifully done job.
