Do tell me about it! In addition to eating all I can handle, I've canned 16 pints of salsa, and frozen 4 quarts for winter chili, stews, and soups. Every day I'm taking 10-15 in, so there'll be plenty for freeze for this winter.

Overall, we've had a fabulous garden season, with a few exceptions. The green beans didn't do so well after mid-July, thanks to bugs, but I have learned to plant a bunch early and just get what I can since the bugs don't seem to show until it gets hot. The jalapeno plants ended up overshadowed by those early beans, and so aren't producing so much, but I do have a Thai Dragon Chili plant that is doing fabulous (those suckers are HOT too!).

But those are some good looking maters - nice size and shape.

*feels he should be impressed but doesn't know how big a baseball is*.

I wish I had a garden to grow things in as opposed to a crappy shared bit of grass behind my flat. Still, we have farmers' markets every week in my town and there's some wonderful fresh, local, food to be got there.

ENVY!!!!!!!!!!
PURE ENVY!
the three plants from this year have all failed to thrive in this brutal UK so called "summer".

The Pomodorino will give maybe, if i'm really lucky, 30ish fruits. Otherwise the other two are showing 3 fruits each. I'm embarrassed for them and won't post the varieties until I give them a chance in normal UK summer weather conditions. It would be fair, really

Man, I need to learn to photograph mine before eating them all. The sweet 100s rarely make it into the house.

Those are really nice.

I ate 5 of my Early Girls yesterday. They're smaller than your average cherry tomato - price of living in SF, I guess.
