Tonight: Packing, and lots of it.
Saturday: More packing, rent a truck, move a bunch of boxes. Hopefully go out with some friends to my favorite local which won't be so local anymore.
Sunday: Unpacking. Waiting for delivery men. Setting up my new digs.

The boy is out of town, so I'm on my own this weekend.

Tonight: pizza, catching up on the Netflix backlog
Tomorrow: maybe a bike ride, going to apply to a couple of bookstores
Sunday: maybe another bike ride, maybe going to the last Pool Party show

Tonight: a friend coming over for beer, pizza and movies
Tomorrow: if the sun comes out, take some photos and try out the infrared film that arrived today. If not, probably stay home and do laundry and chill out.

Tonight: High School Musical 2.
Tomorrow: organist auditions, Grease on Broadway.
Sunday: Church.

Tonight: walk M & J's dog, sit around their house for a while, drink some beer, play Guitar Hero Rocks the 80s, go for a bike ride, drop off some coolers at work, see what B & T are up to this weekend (straight like that, but probably not in that order).

Tomorrow: Another bike ride, probably. Almost certainly some reading and a nap. Maybe a little light yardwork at M & J's. Put more old-school rap on my iPod. Pick up a growler at the brewpub.

Sunday: No idea.

All weekend: Working at the Bolingbrook Jubilee, our town's annual festival. My Jaycee chapter is in charge of the carnival and the bingo tent.

Tonight: Was going to see some bands play at Union Pool; rethinking plans in light of shitty weather.

Tomorrow: gym, cleaning, dinner plans with friends who are back from a month in Argentina

Sunday: gym, some work. Oh how exciting I am.

Tonight: A quick final fitting on a kilt I made someone after work, before I add in the fastenings, then Goth night at a local club, a couple friends will be in the DJ booth, another behind the bar. So a good time should be had.

Tomorrow: trip to the fabric store, lunch with some friends, maybe laundry, and my tattoo.

Sunday: unconsciousness and itching.

Tonight: Luxuriate in the feeling of not having to go anywhere or do anything (it's been a busy week). Watch Intervention and then the UK real estate shows and then the "candid reality" "life in the world of porn" shows (seriously, there was an episode of Silicon Valley a while ago that was so unintentionally hilarious that it had myself and my son's girlfriend in hysterics). Go to bed revelling in knowledge of being able to sleep in.

Saturday: Gp to the gym. Organize signing authority at local Credit Union for Housing Co-op account (I'm president of the board this year again, we kinda drew straws for it and I lost). Pick up cell phone which actually turned up at Transit Lost and Found. Mail off papers so my son will get his Educational Savings cheque to help pay for his trip to Europe (8 week Art History group trip to Italy France and etcetera with 20 other college students). Meet friend, buy shoes and strapless bra for upcoming wedding (my niece's. Will her crackhead mother show or not? we all wonder). Eat dinner and catch movie with said friend.

Sunday: Long walk with dog in the woods. Remember to pick up birdseed, as I'm almost out. Dinner with my mom.

tonight: cramps, but I worked out & vacuumed and the house is clean and I'm happy. also, pinot gris might be my new favorite vinky. Oh! And there's a football game on!

tomorrow: fiddle more with sketchup on some presentations. working out. netflixy.

Having photos taken by a real photographer. Or at least one who wants to build up his portfolio (so it's free).

However, it's outdoors and I blithely agreed to wear a "summer dress" and now realize all my dresses are long and black.

Tonight: maybe yoga. Probably just staying home to watch a movie (I have several on Tivo I've been meaning to catch up on).

Tomorrow: lunch with a friend in Pasadena, then going shopping with him for furniture for his new apartment. Dinner with another friend in Pasadena, and getting to see her new house that she's about to move into. (Everyone I know is moving these days!)

Sunday: bloody freelance project I've been avoiding like the plague, but which I'm now motivated to finish because A) I'm going to Washington (state, not D.C.) for Labor Day and don't want it hanging over my head, and B) the cash will come in handy since I'll be overlapping rent on the new place and old place for a couple of weeks.

Tonight: Meet with mortgage broker to see whether they'll actually give us the money to buy the place we have an offer on.

Tonight: visited Packwood House with fam, photos, recuperated and basked in the glow of the fool's lantern (Stephen Fry dominates telly this eve)

Tomorrow: music, family, full band concert @ Lamb

Tonight: Dinner w/ Metachat's own klangklangston and holyrood, possibly others.

Tomorrow: Clean house, play Warcraft, sleep, maybe grocery shopping and/or make curry.

Sunday: Quaker meeting in Pasadena, then hanging out with two friends and playing cards.

Saturday: taking the horde to the vet (kittens need 2nd set of kitten shots, adult cats need yearly shots, Kaylee needs a pedicure)

Sunday: Work. Signed on for yet another low-paying shift that involves reading and deleting user comments like "why the fuck do you delete my post? you are a coward. Print my post, you motherfucker." Also, frantic emailing of resumes. Actually, I'd better move that up to tonight, along with the laundry.

Friday: went to Lincoln's son's house, tried to find this week's New Yorker--the top bookstore in VT still has last week's(?!), salmon and scallops for dinner.
Tomorrow: leave Rutland, go to museum in Windsor, drive to Burlington.

jonmc, don't bother with the prime rib at Hill Country--it doesn't quite work as barbecue.

Tonight- tried out a new (for me) Indian restaurant, not bad. Went to a huge Asian super market after, looking for the ingredients to make a spicy peanut sauce, in which I'll be using Cashew/Macadamia Nut butter instead of peanut butter.

tomorrow- nothing, blessed, nothing and possibly laundry, but only a little

sunday- 7:45 Tai Chi class (first time), and then probably breakfast with my best friend and his kids (if they're back from Mexico), which is an ongoing tradition since before the oldest was born. We used to color but now she's seven, so it's Hangman or Tic Tac Toe now.

Friday night: ate, fell asleep while watching a dvd (looooong and tiring week)

today: get paint out of my hair (once again, hooray for coconut oil!), long hot soak to get rid of stiffness from ladder incident yesterday (I'm fine, and apparently have the reflexes of a cat, I tell you! However, extension ladder + wet slippery deck = hanging from a roof while your adrenal gland evacuates into your bloodstream and your client races to the rescue. I love being a ladder monkey!), check in with MeChaLand after being without a confuser for, like, a month (!), clean in preparation for visit from some old friends who are staying the night, make ribs 'n' rice for said old friends, drink lots of vodka while catching up with them

tomorrow: nurse hangover, probably with some heavily spiked iced coffee, lather, rinse, repeat

Monday: clean house after guests have gone, weed the garden

Today: Wife's Bday. About to leave for Ashland, for a Shakespeare play (R+J), stay at the Columbia Hotel, eat at the Standing Stone brewery, and chill in Lithia Park.

Tomorrow, breakfast out, more loafing in the park, then driving the 3 hours home, then grocery shopping & chores.

(s-r, you mean surfing as in here, or as in the Pacific? I have to know this.)

danf, I think small_ruminant is a real surfer. I think I've seen a couple longboards in a Flickr photo of hers.

Brisket (which rates up with Kreuz's and Smitty's), shoulder clod, chicken, sides, desserts---all wonderful. Prime rib (which I LOVE and was good in and of itself there) doesn't fit with the sauce and sides ...but then I'm not a Texan.
