bit torrent question: [More:]
I've not used it before, and I'm downloading a set of songs. The song names appear in a folder and have size of 0, then they fill in from the top down, 12M, 7M, etc. as it loads.

However, when I play these seemingly loaded files they skip around and fragment.

Does the whole thing need to download for it all to come together, or is this just a messed up source?

Should I stop it or let it finish?
They should be fine when they are done. Let it finish.

When downloading files using a bittorrent protocol, you exchange little bits and pieces of the file with others, so you don't really have complete version until the very end. If its one torrent that contains several files, you'll get bits and pieces of each file. Wait until it completely finishes downloading.

yes, the folder will make the files appear to be full-size from when you start downloading, but you don't have all the file until the download is finished. Your bittorent software will tell you when it's done.

It appears full-size, btw, so that you don't download more than you have room for. The software allocates to space to prevent memory overrun.
