Running Up That Hill I'm on record as saying I don't like Placebo's cover of this song as much as the original (even though I like Placebo a lot). The song's video is so captivating, though, I think it's won me over.
I got a little weirded out when a friend pointed out that the singer's voice and cadence is more than a little reminiscent of Neil Tennant's (Pet Shop Boys), but I nevertheless still like them.
hmmm... First mpression, a cover stripped of the originals passion and then accompanied by a video of badly lit youtubers miming who probably have no clue about what the lyrics really mean.. Oh shit I'm old, GET OFF MY LAWN!
