Can anyone recommend a web-based e-mail reminder service?[More:]I will use this mainly for less-frequent events like birthdays and anniversaries. HassleMe is not quite right; I need it to be date-specific.
Isn't there a "mail yourself in the future" web based e-mail ting-a-ma-bob? I'll be damned if I can remember where it is but I do remember that you chose the date to have the mail delivered.

[sorry not to be more helpful)

Google's calendar works really well for me.

I like the Google calendar also. I can't believe I haven't used it until now. It's great. I check my email a couple times a day. While I'm in there I check my calendar also.

I'm not so sure how to get email reminders on Google calendar. I just set it to do so a few minutes ago.

My father uses Yahoo mail to notify him of birthdays and such.

I like the 30boxes calendar a lot, and it emails me a reminder at the time and date that I specify.

I use Yahoo calendar to email me reminders of various things.

Yahoo calendar has the added bonus of giving you a static display of the next 3-5 events as a footer to your inbox. I use both it and Google calendar, but I don't use email reminders for dates/events.
