Santoor Music A pack of pre-cooked Indian food I ate (wife's out of town!) had a bonus CD full of this guy's music. Really nice and meditative but at the same time focused.

Variations on the santoor are used all over the orient, AFAIK. The chinese have a plucked version, but most of them are hammered.

Hero and Kung-fu Hustle both feature scenes with the guqin, the ancient plucked version.

Cool, will have to check this out. Love me some ragas. I saw Ravi Shankar a few years ago and was simply blown away.
