Today the 'mc' stands for 'McGyver.' →[More:]The little plug in our bathroom sink drain is, for some reason not attached to anything, and somehow, this morning I managed to drop it directly in the drainhole and was unable to remove it, leaving a lake of water in the sink. After numerous attempts to dislodge said plug which was in a recessed drain, I went to the hardware stor and bough duct tape and a tiny screwdriver. Several attempts at submerged duct tape dislodgement were foiled when the adhesive wouldn't work underwater. Then I got the bright idea to bail out the sink with a plastic cup into the toilet. We then used the duct tape to move the plug up a bit and the screwdriver to pry the damn thing out. If any of you need to be broken out of prison, call us.
