Selling my soul to the devil for $0.09 I just added an advertisement thingie to my blog. First I felt all crass and commercial, like I'd sold my soul to Satan. Then I did a little research on what I am likely to make, and now I'm all bummed out that my soul is not a worthwhile commodity. But then it probably beats what I'd get for my body, so hey, I'm ahead of the financial game;-)
You could deconstruct these four sentences over the course of 400 pages (money! soul! sex! authenticity!) to reveal all the submerged conflicts in the modern human psyche.

kthx.

I can be pithy like that sometimes.

Don't sell yourself short, Orange Swan. Today's web marketing entails keywords and tags, moreso than links.

You have the content mastered. I envy your ability to infuse your stories with a subtle magical feel.

Yeah, but Google Adwords doesn't pick up on 'a subtle magical feel'. I stopped using their ads on my blog when they kept putting up links to the subjects of my worst one-liners and missed the actual topics of my writing.

Well, before I can comment on this, I would have to know how much you would sell your body for.

*gets out wallet hopefully*

URL? (I'll bet your blog can kick my blog's ass)

Oh, I just saw it. It is really well-done.

Chuckdarwin, my site is not to be compared to your terrific one! Bare bones vs. amazing graphics. But whenever I try to customize it using the blogspot options, my computer crashes. Oh well. It's readable, and for a text dense site like mine that's what matters most. And maybe when I get a new-to-me hard drive in the fall I can get it to look a bit more distinctive.

One of the worst moments I've had is stumbling across the blogspot blog that looked exactly liked mine - same typeface, colours, and so forth - but it was written by some frightening fundamentalist.
