I have a good friend who's a master at tying flies but they don't look anything as lifelike as that! Course, flies for fishing are a little bit less precious.
He says he has several types that are lifelike and productive, and in some of the photos you can see more traditional flies in cases; I think it's a matter of a fly-tying master gone a little wacky and creating a niche market in collectible lifelike insects. But as far as I'm concerned, the best part is the dragonfly page.
Yes, quite a little world *ha* he created, and the narrative is great. The pics are just stunning to me. I love macros, and also slow motion. Stuff where you really get to study in detail all the little nuances.
I wish really bad that I was just finished fly fishing and I had about four fine looking trout and I was a little buzzed on Islay scotch and that I had a cigar that cost around five dollars, that would be a really good deal.
That's why you carry a .22 revolver with snake loads, Jrossi, and wear boots. Don't let a few little ole snakes throw you off from fly fishing, it's worth it.
