Hey! I've been dying to meet you... →[More:]Listen... I don't come around too much, but I also have an excess of affection and a boundless flask of good hope so let me know if I can wish you well or congratulate you or tell you what a good job you've been doing or tell you everyting gonna be alright, because I'd like to do that. Chin up brothers and sisters, ain't nothing been invented that we can't knock to the ground and turn into a good story or a good dish of corn chowder and baked halibut (that's a fine dish, btw).

I just polished off two Canadian bacon, tomato and mayo sandwiches and now I'm off to huff a Camel light and slide into bed with a book about the mostly slightly inhabited islands of the Atlantic coast and I'll still be here for you all tomorrow if the need strikes you. Big up to Europe and parts east.

Just geting up here in the UK at 7:30 so just coffee on the horizon for the mo. Hmm Corn chowder with baked halibut, much as I love new receipres at this time of the morning I'm feeling a little queasy at the thought!

I once listened to a toothless Filipino wino (a real one) sing a karaoke version of Miss You in a wino bar (a real one, they served beers in cans and fortified wine only) in North Hollywood. I realized after he got to the part about the Puerto Rican girls that were dying to meet me that I had basically just seen the best thing that could ever happen in the world and that I was more or less finished with life.
