I'm enjoying this at the moment Don't know if the 'listen' link works outside the UK, but this is a good performance of Barber's Violin Concerto.

I listened to that concerto today. The first two movements overshadow the third for me, which is odd: my tastes lean toward the dissonant and confrontational.

His "Adagio" however is dissonant and high tension, just at a glacial pace.
