Feisty Fawn Anyone here using it? I just set up a dual boot on my Lenovo R60e. It works well!
I've been running Ubuntu on my T42 for more than a year now. It's really the Linux that I've been waiting for since 1997 when I first installed Debian Bo. I've had very few problems with it and I almost never need boot back into XP.

Linux distros in general works well as a desktop now, it's not just Ubuntu. Why they get all the hype, I'll never know.

Feisty just picked up ALL my drivers and such... so I could immediately start to do a pretty standard install.

I also found a really straightforward walkthrough for dual booting on an NTSC XP Pro box.

It was so EASY... I think that alone explains the hype.

yeah, Linux really improved a lot. I've been trying beryl/compiz. My laptop couldn't handle it. But I really think the 3d cube presentation of switching desktops helps.
Very impressive.

I am thinking of moving to this everywhere; I want to run a feisty server next.
