Favorite email signature of the day: "Please consider the environment before printing this email." And there's a little graphic of a tree.
Yeah, that's been appearing everywhere at work recently. The tree is some kind of Wingding that magically turns into an uppercase P when I banish the crappy HTML email into lovely, lovely plain text. But, er, yes, consider the environment. Just without crappy HTML email.

Hee.

I just liked the tree, because otherwise my mind probably would have jumped to "the environment around the printer," as if the email sender were advising you to wait until an opportune moment to print the message. Like, when no one else is around. Or perhaps when that special someone is around and you wanted an excuse to go by his desk.

This comment swerves brakes for libruls.
Three things I brought up at my last full meeting:

1. Recycled Paper
2. Fair Trade Tea / Coffee
3. Taking two loads of old monitors and computer parts to London.

My suggestions were, as ever, greeted with the sort icy silence that usually occurs at a funeral.

Heh, I have this on my work e-mails, without the tree after I found that it turns into a P when idiots turn my beautifully formatted HTML e-mails into plain text. Now it just has the text. I started using it because I am apalled by the number of e-mails that get printed out, then thrown in the bin after being read. What the fuck is wrong with you people?
