Brattleboro, VT, you disappoint me. [More:]Also, I've always wondered whether things like "The ordinance defines nudity as the showing of genitalia, buttocks or female breasts" constitute gender discrimination.
My grandparents live further north in Vermont and it was our custom to stop at the Brattleboro HoJo's for lunch on the way up. Must've passed through a hundered times. I saw a lot of people, locals, loggers, the occasional Deadhead. No naked people, though. I been gypped.

My band used to play in a hippie-ish venue in Brattleboro all the time, and no one ever got naked! What gives?

gender discrimination?

Yes, I think it does. There was a group of women in NYC who challenged this a few years ago; I remember they rode the subway shirtless, and the ordinance was changed. I think female breast exposure is still legal in NY.
