He's also facing charges for resisting arrest and failing to have an ID. So, if I were to go out running and not bring a driver's license with me, I could be arrested? (Not that I'd ever go out running -- shin splints.) Or if I popped across the street to buy a bottle of water and didn't bring my ID with me, I could be arrested? Is not carrying ID actually a crime???
My question is, where exactly did they expect him to keep the ID?
I'm guessing, BP, that it's one of those "we can't stop you for suspicion of this crime, but it's something we can charge you with if you've committed something else" things.
I just want to meet him and find out why the TV station pixelated that video of him... all the way down to his knees. *ahem*

I didn't catch that in this story. but I've seen it before and wondered about that, too. I think the "crime" is not producing an ID if an officer asks for it, but that amounts to it being illegal to leave the house without ID, which is bull.
