A Few of Daughter's 15 Minutes At around 8:40 tomorrow, The Today Show will feature her band,Won Ton Destruction, as part of coverage of this year's Rock and Roll Camp for Girls.

A couple guys from Burbank spent the week, said that they'd put them on TV, had me sign a bunch of releases, and it's happened.

(As a bonus, my vintage strat is featured.)
That's awesome! Try to put the clip on the internet.

Awesome, danf! Congrats to your daughter. Great looking Strat, too. Nice neck, and is that a 70's headstock? It's curvier than most; what a beaut.

My brother's teaching bass at rock'n'roll camp in Virginia even as I write this.

Dude, get her her own Strat!

Nicely done - sounds like a fun program!

Well the problem is that both my guitars are constantly up in her room.

I have a brother who has an old Martin D-18 he never plays and I am going to try to get him to loan it to her, but as for the strat, well this is a really nice one, well set up, and I don't play it that much.

congrats! This rock'n'roll camp looks interesting. Too bad they don't have something like that around here...

nth-ing the request for clip on internet.

Well, how does one go about putting something on youtube? The guy on the segment promised me a dvd of it all. . .but I also would not be averse to putting the msnbc stuff on the net. . .just don't know how.

(A whole bunch of people have been watching it here in the office. . .)

Very cool - looks like time well spent at that camp, too. The clip is linked from the NBC page, BTW, scroll down and click launch from the Won Ton pic. Looks like they had a ball!!

Wow, fantastic! She must be so thrilled! (And it sounds like her dad might be a bit proud, too.) Sounds like a blast.
