I saw this in the Metro paper the other day. On my journey home, a bunch of schoolkids were sniggering over it in a copy they'd picked up. "How does he, you know ...?"

The human spirit is a remarkable thing. As is the resourcefulness of the scientists who came up with this contraption.

This is interesting. Wow.

I wonder how well it will work for him for the long term. My dad has a prosthesis on one leg and he has to replace it regularly. So far they haven't really invented anything that can take the constant beating & wear/tear that a human leg takes. My dad goes through one about every 3 years I think. And that's just for one leg, not 2.
