Thank you for the Birthday wishes my friends, if I may call you that.
My mother decided to make Biryani today, which is a delicacy over here and cooked on special occasions, so I'm sitting here basking in the glory of having a fully-filled stomach.
She's also made a wonderful three-layered chocolate cake (my mother's a venerable chef in the kitchen) and I'm going to cut it as soon as my Father wakes up from his nap.

And yay, birthday! I hope it's still the 7th in your time zone so that this is not a late birthday wish. Living in California often makes me feel severely behind the times. (Which is odd, since the state thinks of itself as so cutting-edge. Anyway.)
