Also, why does the image function never seem to work for me?

small_ruminant, are you using the image button? If so, what url did you put in there?

Do you see other people's photos in the threads? If not, toggle the "images on/off" link at the top right of the page.

I don't see images in threads- I see a link that says "click to see image." But when I try to add an image I just see a box with a red X in it.

okay, you need to click the link up at the top that says "images on"; that'll turn the images on (and to turn them off, click "images off"). Then you should see everything!
