That hand looks rather... masculine, which only makes it weirder.

I worked with a woman who had nails like that. She was a really nice person, but I always felt like the only thing anyone ever knew about her was that she had long hard curling nails.

And I always felt bad because I liked her, but her nails creeped me out and I had a hard time getting past that.

Is it something I'm missing? Do some people (other than people who have nails like this) find them attractive?

you know I really admire people who can grow their nails. For years I had to keep mine very short and they just never recovered.I can only fake it now. Sigh!
