This place is fake. I emerge from lurkdom to show you a scam bike sales site. →[More:] This site purports to represent a large, prosperous bike shop in Augusta, Maine. There is no bike shop at 375 Western Avenue in Augusta, an address I drive past all the time. There never has been. There is only a closed Bonanza restaurant. The Bicycle Coalition of Maine has an article about it in its newsletter. Any bike shoppers out there, you are warned.

Never heard of that kind of scam before. I felt sad for the blind guy; I wish I could afford to buy him a tandem.
