Convention is eating my brain; please help me? →[More:]Why do I feel like I'm the only one who has no life because I'm answering every goddamn email as it comes in? And then when I email my staff, only a few people get back to me within two or three days, when I need to work on things right now?

This is worse than having the full-time job at DumbCo that I don't want anymore but am only keeping this summer (unless something better comes along) just so I can save up enough money for my 30th birthday party in September. The reason it's worse is that I'm going professional-quality work and not getting paid for it.

I never thought I'd become one of "those" anime con organizers who can't stop organizing things. God help me, I signed up to be the Operations Manager for our smaller, sister con in October and that's going to involve running the entire damn convention rather than the current staff I've got of three translators, three chauffeurs/moderators, one non-driving moderator and two Green Room attendants.

I think I need bunnies, puppies, and cheesy YouTube videos, please.
