Whoa! There we go. WOW! SHIFT KEY WORKS! S p a c e b a r too. I'm using and old USB keyboard from the original iMac now. It is not very ergonomic.

I popped some of the keys off of my coffee-logged keyboard and tried to clean it out.

I was scared by what I saw.

Somebody please hold me.

heh. I'm actually typing on a ca.-1994 PB keyboard, which I keep coming back to because it's so much less "rattly sounding" than newer keyboards.

Probably "?"

If not, I'm gonna assume that it's a letter that isn't working.
(Because numbers and punctuation would be too hard)

Using an alphabet frequency list
e t a o i n s r h l d c u m f p g w y b v k x j q z

And comparing it against letters missing...
f j l p q v x

I'd go with "L" or "F"

Good thing it was just a keyboard. I spilled coffee on my laptop last year and the hard drive fried. Within two minutes, it was an expensive paperweight.

You folks use keyboards? I just copy and paste letters and words out of other windows, ransom note style.
