I *loved* that movie when I was in high school. There seemed to be only one place in Atlanta that rented it, and a friend and I would drive the 45min. to the artsy bookstore / cult video place to pick it up. It made us feel so sophisticated. :-)

If you like Svankmajer, do not miss The Brothers Quay (youtube google video wiki). They came after him, and even do a tribute to him in one of their films. Dark and creepy stuff, but really stunning. Note: although it looks like it, the Tool video "Sober" is not by them. Also, I'd recommend steering away from the vids that have Tool in the title, as it's just the films put to Tool's music, which really doesn't work as well as the original instrumental soundtracks.
