Sol Widget is awesome!

My latitude (33ish° N) makes my entry that much less exciting, though: sunrise 5:40 am, sunset 8:04 pm.

6:34am - 8:36pm in South Central Texas. It's nice that the sun will rise before I wake up for a few weeks (if we can manage to get any morning sun, what with the nightly thunderstorms).

4:07 a.m. to 8:21 p.m.

Says twilight ends at 9:04 p.m. but I was up at 10:00 p.m. last night and there was still plenty of visibility.

I have a friend who worked at Eielson AFB near Fairbanks. He got used to the constant sunlight by pulling down old-style window blinds over his bedroom windows when it was time to sleep, but one thing that really drove him nuts was the lack of air conditioning in workplaces that soak up the sun all 24 hours of every day.
