Wish me luck I'm up for promotion... again. But this time looks more promising.→[More:]

I applied last week, and had an email from the HR rep for the posting within three hours asking if I could come in the next day. She asked if I'd be willing to meet with the manager and director the very next day at that meeting. That was Wednesday and Thursday last week.
Yesterday I got an email saying I'm a finalist, which means I should know within the week.

Whenever I am walking out of the house for a softball game, a significant mtg, a doctor's appt, whatever, I say "wish me luck," and daughter and wife say in unison, "LUCK."

It never gets old.
