In the last week I too have had a missed connection with my order in Portland while others sat and got their order ahead of me.

We left as well.

It must be the lack of nice weather or something.

Sorry, on the way to your table, I ran into an acquaintance (steel cut oatmeal, you know the drill) who would not stop talking. I kept staring at my watch, glancing over his shoulder, but nothing would get him off my back. By the time I ran to your table, you were gone. I was as disappointed as you are, since I spent the afternoon with my grease congealing on a side table.

Give me another chance? Same time next week?

Mine happened at Aladdin, on NE 33rd. I will go back as that place seems to rotate servers pretty frequently and it's pretty close to my house; but if I walk in and see the forgetful woman, I am walking out. The sad thing was that it pretty dead and it became OBIVIOUS she forgot our order and made no effort to say sorry here's some ____ to tide you over,etc. She looked pretty dumbfounded when we left.
