I like the tassels on socks worn with kilts. They lend a certain flair.

One mean mother in a kilt!

It's just that when you put a complex plaid pattern next to my large, untanned knees, it causes persons viewing it uncontrollable attacks of nausea...

My coworker (who's a piper) thinks only guys with good looking legs should be allowed to wear kilts, but myself- I like them all.

Anyway, "Scottish" and "untanned" are nearly synonymous. Some exceptions apply.

Men in kilts are scrumptious. Yes. Scrumptious.

The Solstice Parade was yesterday, which is a prime opportunity for naked people in body paint, as well as men in kilts. I was sorely disappointed in a couple of my male friends for neglecting to wear their kilts that day, although they were both suitably apologetic.

Yesterday at my con organizer meeting, I suddenly had a mental image flash of the AV tech guy in a kilt because his back was towards me, and he was leaning over onto a table, and his cargo shorts were baggy enough to be kilt-like. He has one of those bubble-butts and he's also bald and lithe. I told this to the gal in charge of Con Safety and then both of us couldn't stop from seeing him in a kilt, especially when he'd shift his weight from one leg to the other, while still slightly bent over.

Oh, and: Man with Kilt and Leafblower

(If you ever see Jennie Breeden at a convention, pick up the calendar for $5!)
