I'm starting to get myself geared up for job searching. I started perusing jobsearch sites and the like, and Pips took me out to buy Big Boy clothes (khaki's, dress shirts) for interviews and the like. Porch, I miss you already.

You're on unemployment, right? Does that force you into a timeline on when you have to find a job?

Whew! I'm so glad you clarified what you meant by Big Boy clothes. I was a little afraid you were going to go to an interview dressed like this.

Well, I'm torn, chewie, between finding some steady-as-she-goes security oriented gig like working for the city in some capacity or going for broke and finding some life-fulfilling gig in the music industry or writing. I'll probably apply for both kinds, I guess.

Once I'm done with this convention's planning for this year, I'm also going to look for a new job. Here's hoping the search is kind to both of us.

Oh, and didja hear that Sandra left DumbCo, too? She's doing the teaching fellowship program, in the Bronx, starting on Monday. I told her to contact you or Pips since you both live in Astoria and all...
