Grinderman - Honey Bee (Let's Fly To Mars)
Nick Cave and 3 of the Seeds doing a sleazy grind. One of the few people who could get away with doing an album like this. As one reviewer said (in a positive tone), "They're old enough to know better." Really highly recommended.

The Furios - Ghostown
That Vancouver BC ska band I keep going on about. They are so much fun.

The Selecter - Everyday
I finally found this album and grabbed it. Very cool second-wave ska.

Southern Culture on the Skids - Greenback Fly
Music to scrape the cowshit of yer boots to.

TV on the Radio - Wolf Like Me
Bowie loves these guys. I saw them live and love them too. Interesting sound - soul and rock with super heavy doses of The Jesus and Mary Chain and very early Psychedelic Furs (the 'Talk Talk Talk' wall-of-melody era).

No probs, ico. bmarkey will back me up on this I'm sure - if you like Nick Cave, pick up Grinderman. The track I posted is the fastest on the album, and the rest is as good. Give them money and buy it! :)

oh, note to Elizard - you've got all this stuff when I brought it over, so you're not missing anything.

Well, since I'm messing around with DivShare....
I've uploaded a movie trailer for Zoetrope, a short film based on Franz Kafka's 'In the Penal Colony'. Lustmord (DarkAmbient, creepy) does the soundtrack. If you're interested in either of the above, it's worth a looksee. The preview on the site is heavily pixellated, but the uploaded file is clear.
Note: the flick is 34.6 meg and is a ~3 min d/l on a good (read: fast cable) connection.

OMG zack. Coming in terribly late to the thread (sneaking around looking for music late, okay) and find THE SELECTOR? They're one of my favorites ever, ever ever. You rock. All I have is vinyl. I mean you ROCK. thanks.

misteraich: 'Too Much Pressure' has been released on the Captain Mod label, which is where this is from. It's the whole album and 3 bonus tracks.
