I FINALLY GOT A MOTHERFUCKING JOB →[More:]Finally. Finally! FINALLY. Oh, thank you $deity! THANK YOU.

OK, so it's just probationary, it involves software I haven't used yet and I'm jumping back into an industry I left because it damn near killed me once before. But it's a nice, small owner-proprietor setup with some nice folks and it should be all good.

Even better, their starting offer for hourly is about 4x anything else I was aiming for.

I'd have expected loquacious' announcement to be a bit more erudite, but WOOHOO!

With 4x the expected hourly wage, you can put some money away so that you can quit when the industry that damn near killed you just begins closing in on you.

I never had a really motherfucking job myself, but I had one job with a business that fucked a lot of mothers. The key to that was taking a shower after work every day.
