I hate both those guys. Criss Angel strikes me as the kid in high school who wanted to be cool but never quite got it (not that I was cool or anything) but David Blaine has always struck me as Beelzebub in disguise.

Magicians are the A/V geeks of the entertainment world. The best are the ones who revel in their grotesque freakishness (Penn & Teller, Ricky Jay). David Blaine, Copperfield, and the Mindfreak dude are what happens when magicians try to be rock stars. You can sexy it up all you want, but in the final analysis, you're still just some dork on a stage making weird hand motions and playing with a ball and cups.
