I was also thinking about the incongruity of the whole "woe, our families don't understand" thing to the "omgz, my daughter is so cool" thing to the "we've shown this to our families who love it" thing and this is what I've decided:

I think that DadManda is a liberal hippie who thinks it's cool, but MoManda doesn't, and would rather her daughter love and get married to that nice boy who lives next door... he's a doctor you know?
