Y'know, I loved, loved, loved Season 1. But for some reason, it really seemed to flag for me in Season 2. Did the dialogue get more mannered, or is that just me?

I still loved pretty much every minute Ian McShane as onscreen...

It's an HBO show--the MSRP is $100/season (though they usually run about $75-$80 in stores).

Did the dialogue get more mannered [in Season 2], or is that just me?

Well, Season 2 is when you get the line "My bicycle masters boardwalk and quagmire with aplomb. Those who doubt me suck cock by choice." So, yeah.
