5 Current Blog Favorites Let's do another round of this, because I have 120 feeds and still have nothing to read, so hook a sister up[More:] I'll go first:

Joe Mathlete Explains Today's Marmaduke
Passive Aggressive Notes
Violent Acres
Broadway Abridged
True Bride Confessions
Five fluff favs:

* Style Scout UK- This site is fun, and the links on the right are fantastic. You could spend the day surfing with those links as a starting point.
* Kingdom of Style - I love when she takes photos of herself wearing her fashion finds. Like, look at that belt. Swoon.
* Who Killed the Mixtape - I like the commentary and the music downloads.
* Inflight at Night - Ditto.
* The Skinny Website - Where everyone is obsessed with the weight of celebrities.
* Design*Sponge - Ok so that's six fluff favs.

I don't read many, so this is all I have:

Unscrewing the Inscrutable (atheist blog)
The Hangover Journals (by our very own bunny, mygothlaundry)
Americablog (lefty political blog- they're a bit dogmatic for me, but I find good stories here)

Hard to pick 5 favorites - I'll probably change my mind tomorrow...

The Presurfer, king of the interesting links since before YOU were born (in internet years - Blog of the Day exactly 6 years ago)

Mental_Floss, the trivia magazine's blog is more interesting than anything in its deadtree edition

Miss Cellania, lite middlebrow reading updated daily with a daily theme, good links, borrowed cartoons, old jokes from an out-of-work disc jockey (extra sympathy points from me)

Whatever (John Scalzi) He and I go way back to before the Millennium... now that he's this Big Time Sci Fi Author, he's still interesting...

two-half-blogs (because of specialized content)
Cartoon Brew (about animated cartoons, duh) and Drawn! (about non-animated cartooning mostly)

...and another half
News from ME (Mark Evanier), knows everybody in Hollywood, has written good comic books & bad TV cartoons, a bunch of his online essays have made the MeFi front page (currently in semi-hiatus, otherwise he'd be in the 5)

Crap, you already had P-A Notes. Well then, Cockeyed.com.

Another good Marmaduke-related blog is Marmaduke Can Vote, where each cartoon is recaptioned to reflect recent political news and everyone's least-favorite dog is transformed into a shrill neoconservative!

Dogblog -- "As I walk around San Francisco, I encounter dogs tied to things, take their pictures, and offer them up to the world with whatever commentary springs to mind." So funny.

Fire Joe Morgan -- Acid-tongued deconstructions of stupid things baseball announcers/writers say/write, by a team of smart, funny, opinionated baseball fans.

Gin and Tacos -- Often political, almost always funny, ignore the crappy site design. The rants on life in academia (e.g., this) are wonderful.

Rands in Repose -- Sharp, iconoclastic, and funny (sensing a theme here) takes on management, specifically in the context of software development but translatable to almost any workplace setting.

365 Portraits -- Bill Wadman, a photographer, is shooting and posting one portrait per day during 2007. Some really, really lovely work here.

Behind the Counter - An anonymous blog by a person who works at Wal-Mart.

The rest of my favorites have already been mentioned.

Street Use - Homemade stuff, adapted tech.
Destination: Out - Free jazz, art music.
Action Button
- Videogame New Journalism.
Allen Tattoo - Graphic-designer-turned-tattoo-artist.
Data is Nature - Art and technology.
