hmm I can hear the rain drizzling down and an odd bird squeaking in the pine tree. Other than that all is silent. The cats sit motionless about 8 feet away. One is staring off to the left. The other stares off to the right. I have a dull insistent pressure behind my eyes. I feel like I am in a Bergman film.
>PET CAT

You can't do that here.

You see what the cat sees.

Oooh, Bergman-film feeling is bad. I often get Fellini-film feeling, which is usually great, or Antonioni-film feeling, which is usually.... big. And quiet. And ominous. And windy.

Just be glad it's not Peckinpah-film feeling.

bmarkey, the Peckinpah feeling only creeps up on me at picnics.

Dammit, I go to bed early ONE night, and not only do I miss an entire Pink Floyd thread, but also a top-notch obscure Monty Python reference. That'll teach me.

I'm constantly running into the Altman movie feelingg: lots of concurrent situations that will eventually converge later in some way that's still unclear.
