Maybe you could make a Buy-my-Mom-a-House site; I'm always amazed (and pissed off - in a selfish way) at the number of people who give money to little snots who make sites asking for money to pay off their massive debts.

They get to spend like crazy, and get other people to pay? Damn. I'd much rather help buy your mom a place. You could make it cool, with anecdotes from your kidhood every day... maybe some old photos or fun things.

The worst part is that I could totally angle a begging-site right, mom was a stay at home mom which is why she practically has nothing in pension, and my father died 1987, leaving her with me to still send to college and a sudden need for a high-paying career (which she got because she r0xors). She worked in IT and by the late 90's there was that infamous bust so all "Old people" were laid off and she found herself another job in a hellhole of a giant company where it seems everyone burned out. All her physical ails happened with that job so they gave her the option to retire early which she had no option but taking (it was that or try and find a job when you are really really physically ill and need healing-time). Then she lost the place where she managed to keep us in all throughout the eighties and early nineties by basically starving herself and now lives in a much smaller place and hating it every day. I just want to win the lotto and buy her the dream home to be in seeing as she fed me and clothed me for so long.
