Seeing the white tigers in Las Vegas was actually one of my favorite parts of the trip. They're just such neat animals, and so playful.

Fabulous pics. Absolutely amazing. And the video is wonderful.

A few years ago when I visited Vegas for the first time I stayed with a friend who worked for the Director of Zoology at The Mirage, so she arranged for me to have a 'personal interaction' with a lot of the animals, out of hours, including the white tiger cubs.

I wasn't allowed to meet the adult tigers because I had my period and apparently that can affect the tigers. One of my friend's jobs was to keep a chart of the menstrual cycles of female members of staff who worked with the tigers and arrange their shifts accordingly.

Now, occhiblu, you have to ask a question in the green about how you *need* a white tiger cub and where can you get one. Attack anyone who suggests you think carefully about your choice of pet.

Ikkyu keeps claiming we have room for chickens in our backyard. I don't know why there wouldn't also be room for a white tiger. We could build him a swimming pool!
