Anyone else following On The Lot? I'm really enjoying seeing so many new films from unknown talents.
I saw the first couple, arse. I enjoyed the short films, but the personalities were way too over the top for me. Christ, what a bunch of assholes.

Maybe when the field gets narrower it will be easier to watch.

A friend of mine tried out for it, which is why I watched it in the first place.

The first two shows put me off. Too much fighting and not enough movies. Last night was great with a two hour show just showing each contestant and his or her work. If the keep emphasizing the movies I'll stick with it.

Damn, missed that one.

I'm trying to keep up but something always keeps coming in the way. I think I'll start watching it religiously from next week.

(I liked the guy who pitched that story idea in the first episode: about a guy who's going to get ordained as a priest and falls in-love with a woman who almost dies in a storm.)

Reading the Charles Nelson Reilly obit threads made me think... || Jay Chou's Fearless?
