Forgotten New York. and Bridge And Tunnel Club. Both sites have been around forever, but I could still spend all day roaming through their pages. Both have nice sections on Astoria and loads of great photos and facts.
I love the Modern Art Foundry. And I'm not sure I want to know what's in that Unique Chemists place.

I do love this photo from the Far Rockaway section of Forgotten NY:

I love these types of sites. Here's the one from my neck of the woods. I walk by this place quite often, and it's cool to know what it looks like on the inside.

We have one of those, too.
I prefer this one, though. This blog has some amazing stuff, too.

I have such a weakness for urban decay and abandoned buildings.

I love Forgotten NY but had never seen Bridge & Tunnel Club. That's been bookmarked.

Oh NYC, how I miss you.

No pictures here, but Eric Zorn (Chicago Tribune columnist) posted in his blog a list of places that used to be in Chicago but no longer exist. The original post was written in September 2005 (the day it was announced that Marshall Fields would become Macys - boo hiss!) and people are still commenting on it! Lots of memories here for anyone who spent time in Chicago.

Movies you show your parents, or plan to...what are they? || Good with coffee.
