Zeroes. Could that possibly have been any stupider? What an awful, awful show. (possible spoilers inside)
Oh man, I forgot to watch it. I've only actually seen one episode (the one from last week) but I've keeping up with it via the heroes wiki. Could you give me a rundown on what happened? the wiki hasn't updated yet.
At the absolute end (lets do this without spoilers) when you-know-who lands you-know-where, my first thought was "isn't this what happened when the teenage mutant turtles ran out of ideas?"
Spoilers: why couldn't Peter fly himself? He'd already absorbed Nathan's powers. Or teleported somewhere (or somewhen) safe? And what was with evil what's-his-name seeing Parkman and Bennett on the camera, and then doing something so stupid as to to run up behind Parkman and shout something ALOUD. Parkman's a MIND-READER, dumbass! While we're at it, what the hell was up with Parkman's power sometimes working and sometimes not during that whole segment?
regarding flying:
I assumed he was too concentrated on not blowing up to use anything else -- remember, peter is an empath, he must feel like the power's owner to use it, and at that time he was too busy freaking out (like ted, that's why he was able to 'use' his power). surely he didn't have time to get cheery and optimist to teleport, or cold and manipulative to fly.
Regarding hiro, the next season is supposed to be about the 'old skool' (linderman, papa & mama petrelli, papa deveaux and papa nakamura). grampa nakamura does fit in this concept. also, remember sylar doesn't teleport anyone, it was hiro who (consciously or not) went away, and he sure as hell is the kind of guy who would intentionally imitate a tmnt episode.
