TeeVee: It's all being streamed! I just realized that all of the major networks are streaming their shows. Other than Heroes, Lost and Ugly Betty, is there anything worth watching? (I've been in a netflix cocoon for a while)
Hilarious. I just got done watching a 30 Rock. It's been nearly three years since I've had a TV (for broadcast purposes).
Anyway, it's the one thing I've allowed myself besides Doctor Who and Battlestar Galactica (both of which I p2p, and which I tend to watch 2 or 3 times apiece before moving to the next).
The biggest problem I have is that half the websites don't recognize my Firefox as a supported browser, even when they say they support Firefox. ABC is one.
I'm very amused to see that The King of Queens and According to Jim are still around and streamable. To steal a line from 30 Rock, it's like expecting a beeper call from 1983.
Weird, I'm using firefox (2.somethingsomething) on Mac OSX and I haven't had a problem with ABC (well, except for the fact that they don't like you moving the viewing window.
I'd add House and The Office to those shows already mentioned. I'm going to miss the Heroes finale tonight, which sucks! I'm hoping I can get the kids to nap at some point tomorrow so I can catch it on NBC's site.
I love House.
I'm also a fan of Boston Legal. I have a longstanding crush on James Spader, though, so YMMV.
I've also been digging on Dr. Who (and Torchwood) as of late. My roommate got me into them.
I stopped watching Battlestar for a year or so and now I can't get back into it, it makes no sense anymore.
update: the NBC site is seriously flakey with my mac and both Safari and Firefox. Lots of cut outs, etc. so I just googled around and found some pirate streaming site in Lithuani or some other post-cold-war haven for former Bulgurian KGB Hax0rs.
up^update: It's 16 days later and I've seen the entire first season of 30 rock and all 23 episodes of Heroes. Heroes blew me away, although I still can't imagine even Peter surviving that blast. I need to talk to someone about it, to process 16 hours total (966 minutes) of that show.
