Eth, are you in Firefox? It's a known problem with FF. It's not a userban.

Open Chatzilla, go to Preferences, open Global Settings.

Under the General tab, find the Identification field.

Under Description, change "New Now Know How" (or whatever it says) to any other text.

Voila, you will be unbanned.
