Psychic... Powerless... another man's... →[More:]Holy smokes. Nearly half the homes in my town are without electricity. We had a very severe thunderstorm that lasted about 1.5 hours yesterday (while I was at work in NYC). When I got home (after nearly a 3hr commute), I saw some freaking ginormous 100-150 year old trees laying down over electrical lines everywhere. We lost power about about 3pm and 25 hours later it's still not on. Judging from the massive outages, I think we'll be lucky to get it back by midnight, which is what CT light and power is currently estimating.
