Maybe. You'd have to get a critical mass of people to head over, and probably sufer trhough some stilted conversations during the first growth phase. I was sad to see BookFilter crash and burn, but I think it went down because of lack of timeliness. Yeah, books come out all the time, but the books people wanted to talk about tended to be ones that had been out a while, so there wasn't really anything driving new conversation. With a MovieFilter, you'd have a giant marketing machine firing new topics at you (on top of discussing existing movies).
