Who's out of whack? Roll call.[More:]I liked what redvixen said in dabitch's thread below - feeling "out of whack" lately. It seems like a few people feel out of whack. I feel out of whack. Who else feels out of whack? What's causing this widespread lack of whack, this whack-lack attack? Who hijacked the whack? Does anybody know where some whack can be had?

Seriously though - I don't know whether it's the change of seasons, mercury going retrograde, eddies in the space-time continuum, or what.
I feel out of whack!

I am seriously out of whack.

I personally am so out of whack that I've forgotten just what whack looks like. Whackless am I, and whackless I shall remain for the foreseeable future.

I'm feeling more whacked-out than anything.

I feel wacky!

I lack whack. That is to say, I am all out of it, where "it" is the "whack". I look forward to rolling in the whack, soon.

Yeah, I'm not quite in whack, that's for sure. It's hard to say how far out of whack I am though. Certainly, though, my place in the universe in relation to whack is in question.

i'm a whackadoodle. Possibly a flibbertygibbet.

This whacking good time might be enhanced by a beer.

And what's Eddy doing in the continuum?

Hrm. I live in The Whack. It's what we youths call Warwick.

I'm feelin' pretty alright.

I'm chock full of wack. Wiggety wiggety wack.

I've been out of whack since January. I'm gradually working back towards in-whack. Or at least towards acceptance and accommodation of whack-ed-ness.

Always have been, since birth. I'm semi-comfortable with it, but I still always hope...

Out of whack, due to a cold and insomnia in my case.

I do not feel out of whack so much as I feel I am ending another of life's many phases with the new phase yet to dawn.

I learned today that the arterial blockage in my heart is too extensive to be repaired by stents or even by a bypass. I already have experience with the course of therapy that my cardiologist recommends, and it is expensive, time- and energy-consuming, and likely to be no more than moderately successful over a rather short term.

I expected as much, so this news is not taking much of an emotional toll.

Also, I expect my application for Social Security Disability will finally go before a judge soon, and as my contact within SSA states, "I have the right lawyer." Thereafter, I will be free to travel as I will and no longer need to maintain a permanent address.

The biggest question in my life now is "What do I want to do next?", and to that I have no shortage of possible answers.

Oh, so very out of whack. Everything just feels wrong lately. I want to go find a cave and crawl away and disappear for a month or so.

Really, someone should organize some sort of Cave Retreats.

Ceiling Cat is watching this thread with suspicion.
Wow, mischief. I sincerely hope your new life-phase leads you to delightful adventures and memories to cherish for as long as you care to chase them.
I too am out of whack. If you offered me big money for my whack I would not be able to fulfill the deal, but I would still try to take the cash and run.

I'm out of whack big time. More so than usual, yes. But wow, mischief. Props to you for being in-whack. Ish, at least.

I getting back into my whack, starting to feel more like me than I have in a very long time.

Ok, so this is a weird thing but I am getting hit on left and right lately. I dunno what's going as I normally do not get hit on. Lately though, it's been crazy. Not that I'm complaining, the attention is flattering.

on the bright side this means i get to canoodle with the mister afterhours, heh.

Thanks for asking; since February, when some lady drove into me With Her Car, I've been deeply out of whack. Lately, an odd feeling has begun to dawn, and now I've figured out what it is: I'm in whack!

mischief: oh, my. New phase indeed. I'm admiring your poise and aplomb. When you feel like whuffles, you know where to come.

Hey, Flo, good to see you are back with us! As for me, I expect to finally get some frequent flier miles that actually add up to something. Scandinavia and Greece are high on the list. Thank you to you too, Elsa.

For now, I am recycling paper into new sheets and binding them into blank books with hard covers that I am also making in my sink.

I'm always at least a wee bit out of whack. I don't know what being in whack would feel like.

THANK YOU! I'M SO WHACKED LATELY IT ISN'T FUNNY!

MAYBE IT'S NOT JUST ME!

YOU'VE GIVEN ME HOPE

No, really. It might be the fumes at work, but it feels like something bigger. Still, I'll be glad when that hefty Hepa filter gets here from eBay.

I feel stoned. A few minutes ago I couldn't remember Chjristopher Walken's name. Who forgets Christopher Walken? I forget things constantly lately. I'm in a daze.

Um, worse than is normal for me.

Ghaaaah.

I'm so in whack it's nauseating. 'Course that only hit recently, and will realign to its usual whackless status in a week or so, but for now I'm enjoying it. Or it could be sunstroke. Time will tell.

IRFH, welcome back! You were much missed.

mischief, good for you. Can't wait to read your postings from all corners of the globe.

I was knocked out of whack by the six-week virus thing that hit me at the start of the year, & have yet to get quite fully back into whack since.

I've been out of whack since December of 2006. I think I may be returning to in-whack state by simply accepting my out of whack state.
posted by chewatadistance 16 May | 06:31
I've been whacked out for as long as I remember. Like chew, I'm heading toward a state of acceptance.

out of whack and whacked out - was supposed to be doing an exam this morning (didn't count towards anything in particular, just a language course for self-improvement) and I had a panic attack and went home :(

I feel exactly like occhiblu at the moment, wanting to crawl away for a while.

I'm completely out of whack. Sad and tired and stressed the hell out. My work is suffering and I don't seem to be able to grub up any motivation from anywhere.

I need a hug (highly obtainable) and a vacation (less so).
posted by Fuzzbean 16 May | 10:34
I am completely and utterly whacked out to the point that discombobulation comes much closer to describing me...
I am recklessly pursuing love(and i know it)
I've been driving a 4 hour round-trip to visit an ex i'm still madly in love with, and working much less and no longer have a roomate to split costs with...this all adds up to impending financial doom.

but other than that i'm great...except i'm out of whack.

*hugs Fuzzbean tightly*

I've been out of whack for several weeks now. Too much going on and swirling around to get my bearings. So I'm going forward slowly...I guess you could say I'm getting my whack back!
