AUGH! Pricing and probability please! I need to drum up some cash (for bills and a potential mini-trip) do you think this painting would sell? And how much should I sell it for? HALP?
YES it would sell. She's frickin' adorable. And the size is a very good thing too since there are many more people who could fit a smaller piece in their homes = bigger market right there! But yes much more than you'd think too. Triple digits is a must.
Add another "OF COURSE it would sell" to the list -- a kitchen/food theme, to boot! Super, super popular stuff. I'm guessing you could get $400, maybe as much as $600. Do you know someone who brokers art? A gallery? A restuarant you patronize where they'd let you show it? How about Craigslist?
I'd love to be a buyer of your art myself if I were in the position to buy art. I'll be talkin' to you in 5-10 years, though. ;)
Okay, I think I will repost it to Flickr with a list price of $500 or best offer? Seems like a lot to me but then again my bills are a lot and my desire to go to NY is high too!
Do people sell art on craiglist Miko? if the flickr thing has no takers maybe I will try that.
Funny, I know I posted a reply here! Wonder where it went...
I said before that I liked it, and although I'm not good at pricing things, you should aim high. Deborah picked a good price. I love the painting, myself. Looks like a supermarket shopper who decided to toss the produce around.
I love it. I love it so much I wish I had $500. Is it THE Rapture or is she just that damn happy? Did she throw the produce because she's happy or is she happy because she threw the produce? I doesn't matter. I love her.
