Monthly archives kill the server and don't display properly, so I moved things onto weekly archives.

Your options...

- Monthly archives which only show the first 15 days.
- Weekly Archives which show the whole of the week.

I'd like to know who uses the archives so I can prioritise changing these to allow Monthly archives to be displayed properly. Also, if you tell me which of the two options (above) you prefer then I'll change the settings accordingly.

Is there a way to identify the weeks other than "week 1"? With date ranges or something?

Can they show the week by date, though, instead of by number? The search function is also difficult sometimes (sorry), so sometimes it's more expeditious to go straight toward the general date to find an old thread. But that becomes really challenging if you have to count up which week of the year July 28th fell on.

And am I interpreting correctly that if it's a monthly, but only shows 15 days, you'll never be able to access a thread from July 28th?

I only use the archives when trying to look back within the last couple of weeks. For everything I else I go through search or through a username (if I can remember who said something).

The search function is pretty unspecific, but that's an entirely different whining complaint.

I'd prefer the weeklies.
