Today I got a phone message from a staffing agency whose client is looking to hire a legal secretary ASAP. Are they that desperate in Reno? If so, how do I go about this? I don't suppose they would pay for my flight for a lousy interview. Say I cough up the money somehow to fly over there and interview and they pick me, how can I start ASAP when I don't even have a place to live? Would they actually pay money to relocate a legal secretary with 3 years experience? Realistically, since I don't think they will, is there any way to move out there when I currently live at home with only a few hundred to my name and can't/don't want to borrow a lot on credit? Maybe borrow a security deposit and first month's rent from my parents? What about my cat and my car? Makes you wonder how people ever manage to "go where the jobs are."
